sense of touch

Now that we know a lot about our body and how it works, we learned our senses. The sense of touch, we now know, is with our skin. All over our body there are nerve endings with which we can feel the texture, pressure ( ex. weight of object), temprature. There are much more nerve endings in our fingers than in other parts of the body, such as, the back. That is why are fingers do most of the touching/feeling.
(Some of us understand that we are using the set of nerves called sensory nerves to send messages to the brain about what is going on in the world around us- which is done through our senses.)
