Tashlich

On the first day of Rosh Hashana, it is customary to go to a running body of water to cast away your sins. (preferably, the body of water should contain live fish). The fish are symbolic to Hashem, for their eyes never close. We ask Hashem to allways have his eyes on us and protect us from all evil. Also, A fish has many babies at a time. We too are asking for good in abundance.
