Enjoying a Group Math Game

 

This group counting game works on a number of skills at once (numeral recognition, number-word sequence, one-to-one correspondence, and discerning magnitude). Once they achieve fluency with performing the task itself, it also becomes a self-correcting activity as checking their work (and that of their peers) is as easy as counting the final number of pieces and checking it against the required number.
