One of the traditions we learned about Sukkot is shaking the Lulav in all directions to bless the Sukkah. The Lulav is made up of four parts, a palm branch, a myrtle branch, a willow branch, and an etrog. Our teachers told us that the different parts are brought together to celebrate the diversity and unity of the Jewish people.
