As we prepare for Rosh Hashanah, we read books about the king in the field to explain the idea that Hashem, our King as Jewish people, is close and can answer our prayers. Morah brought in a king puppet for us to imagine what it would be like to talk to a king. She built a throne and palace in circle time and asked us each what our “wish” from the king for the year would be.
