just like our matriarch sarah had candles lit in her tent for the whole week, we got to decorate our very own picture of candlesticks!

The Life of Sara!

in this weeks Parsha of Chayei Sarah we learn about the life of sarah, the wife of Abraham avinu, even though she died at the end of last weeks parsha. 

we learned that while she was alive, the tent had two special things happen to it that shows us how special sarah was. 

the first thing was there were always candles lit, and they never extinguished or went out until it was time for her to light the next week.

the second thing was that there was a cloud above her tent which was the cloud of Hashem always protecting them.

when she passed away those things disappeared, until their son yitzchok got married to a girl named rivka and they appeared soon after.
