Mailbox Adventure

It’s been so fun this week hearing from the kids about the cards that went home. The pure excitement in the classroom as they tell about receiving something that they got to create and send themselves has been infectious!

They each got to drop their letters in the mailbox themselves last Friday. We discussed safety by the road and everyone held hands as we took the short trip to deposit the mail. We were even lucky enough to run into the mailman!

Hearing the Shofar

After learning so much about Shofar, Morah Blumi invited Rabbi Sholom to blow a real shofar for us!

Rosh Hashanah celebration class family style!

Morah Blumi & Miss Angela put our tables together last Friday so we could all sit together like a family! It was nice to see all of our friends faces while we ate and talked. After learning about Rosh Hashanah traditions, we had apples with honey and pomegranate seeds for snack. We all tasted and discovered how we liked it best.

Circle Time Yoga

We took some time at the end of circle time to get some exercise and then to refocus our brains and bodies with a bit of yoga before heading calmly to lunch.

Our crafting has so much detail and focus!

We loved using clay to make honey jars this week. There were also plenty of opportunities for apple and bee coloring and cutting. Our students were so proud of their creations, as they should be!
