We had so many bug related activities this week! Sorting and counting and making patterns was very fun. Utilizing the tweezers to grab the bugs was a great fine motor challenge for a lot of our class.

Mini Entomologists
We brought our magnifying glasses outside to hunt for insects! We found lots of ants and other garden critters. Morah Blumi even caught a crane fly in our classroom in a mason jar!
Decorating Cookies for Israeli Independence Day
The class always enjoys baking but this was particularly fun for them as they felt proud that our class was responsible for making the dough for the entire school. They mixed the dough, made their own cookies, and decorated with blue and white icing (the colors of the Israeli flag). They were so eager to eat them!
