All week we have been building menorahs from whatever we have in the class. We made one from legos and this one we worked on as a group.

Working On Our Hanukkah Books
The class has worked hard on the pieces for their Hanukkah books. Lots of cutting and painting and gluing and most importantly counting to make sure they each had what they needed.
Washi Tape Menorahs
As we have spent a lot of time talking about and preparing for Hanukkah, we have done lots and lots of menorah related crafts. This activity built on the background we made using golfballs as paintbrushes. The students used washi tape to design their menorah from 3 options they were shown. They chose the colors and ripped the tape utilizing creativity and advanced fine motor skills.
