we were given flashlight; some worked and some didnt. we learned about how when hashem creates a human he gives everything they need to serve in the world. and sometimes he doesnt give people an ability to see! but then sometimes he does and as they get older they may slowly lose their eyesight.
we even got to see some really cool books on how blind people are able to read and see and type
with their fingers using something called braille.
morah shira told us to close our eyes and feel the air, and how when someone cant see they use their ears and other senses to be able make their way down the street or through their house.
Lastly, we were given a box with holes, and these little clear colored pegs that we could make a picture with, and the biggest surprise was when morah shira plugged in the box and it lit up!
