This week and last week Morah started talking to us more about what tzedakah means and how we can implement it in our daily lives. We passed around the tzedakah box and even were able to use some of the coins for an introductory math lesson. Our new scales are so fascinating! Being able to see what happens when we add or take away our tzedakah coins helps to conceptualize the idea of more and less or heavy and light.
Math is truly part of almost everything in our lives. From money to baking to navigating to measuring clothes, numbers are everywhere!
