We were surprised to learn that we have a second chance to do the mitzvah of eating matzah for Pesach. When talking about this, we also discussed how important second chances and forgiveness are in life. We read books about flexible thinking and kindness, showing love and respect to our peers, and discussed the ways in which our classroom operates with unity. This on going discussion about forgiveness and second chances connects to our everyday life as we learn to give ourselves and our friends chances to do better.
