This week we enjoyed a visit from a local beekeeper! She brought us some tasty honey and showed us her beekeeper suit and how it keeps her safe. We were even able to see some live bees (safely behind glass).
We learned about Queen bees, how worker bees collect pollen for food, and how they make honey.
