Using red and green play dough we made our own apples for Rosh Hashanah. We use play dough as a fun tool for building hand/finger strength and dexterity which leads into the development fine motor skills. It is a great creativity building toy because the play can be totally open-ended. Since we don’t pull it out everyday, the kids also view it as a treat.
